Life is full of choices. We make decisions to ameliorate our living standards. Is it worth without happiness? No, happiness is not in the mere possession of money.
“HAPPINESS IS WHEN WHAT YOU THINK, WHAT YOU SAY, AND WHAT YOU DO ARE IN HARMONY”– Mahatma Gandhi
In my point of view, there are few things to keep up with to lead a happy life. First we have to live in the present. Many of us regret about the past and spoil their present moments. We use to worry the day that we cannot get back. And some of us think about the future, the day that does not yet exist. If we spend time worrying about what’s coming, and that may or may not happen, then it will only be a waste of our precious days.
Second, if we put our smile on that influences our day and everyone around us in a positive way. Wearing a smiley face does not cost us anything, after all, but a small smile puts us on the right path. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give.
Next we have to choose to be optimistic. Our vision to every particular moments in our lives, depends on what we choose to see or feel. That can be a positive one or negative. As Albert Einstein said “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” As humans we often see the problems rather than seeking for the solutions. Therefore we have to make proper decisions to be happy.
Then we got to focus on family and friends. Moreover several times in life we are too busy looking for what we want that we are blind to the fact that we already have all we need, family, friends and love. As Barbara Bush said “at the end of your life, you will never regret not having passed one more test, not winning one more verdict, or not closing one more deal. You will regret time not spent with a husband, a friend, a child, and a parent”.
Next we have to practice to forgive and forget. Families are made in the heart. The only time family becomes null is when those ties in the heart are cut. We need to forgive in order to understand. Until we forgive, we shield ourselves against the possibility of understanding.
Next thing is helping others and being happy. Helping connects us to others and develops strong and happy community for everyone. And it’s not all about money, we can give our time, ideas and energy. Kindness towards others is be the bond which connects individual happiness with our community and social well-being.
“There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others.” ― Mandy Hale,
Being happy with who you are and what you have is a decision that must be willfully made. Goals can help to lead to happiness. Finding a laughter in our life is essential and it adds spice to life. But in the end, we need to make a choice for happiness. The key to the happiness is the decision that you make to be happy. Ultimately the happiness is in your hand.
Have a Happy Day!!!
